Emily Swant, M.D. was born and raised in Southern California. She received her undergraduate and medical degrees from University of California Los Angeles. She completed her pediatric residency at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles in 2013 and spent an extra year as chief resident. After residency, she worked in private practice in Southern California and moved to Colorado in 2022. She joined Pediatrics 5280 in February 2023. She truly enjoys seeing patients of all ages from newborns to teens. She likes to see and help patients with mental health concerns and has completed extra training in pediatric mental health. When not practicing medicine, Dr. Swant enjoys spending time with her husband and 2 children and their cocker spaniel, Penny. They love to travel as a family exploring places in Colorado and abroad.

We adore Dr. Swant! She is so knowledgeable, attentive and caring! My children feel comfortable talking to her and are genuinely happy to see her!

We started seeing Dr. Swant for our twins - she has been wonderful and I highly recommend her! She is so caring and really listens to our concerns and what we want. She works alongside us as a partner on this journey and provides options instead of just telling us how it should be done. She has also worked both kids in her schedule at the same time when the appts available would have made us have to wait between appts. And she’s even checked up on us when she was on vacation! I know my babies are in great hands and am so glad we found Dr. Swant!

Excellent. Front desk was very nice and helpful and Dr. Swant was very attentive, didn’t rush me and answered all of my questions.
