2 1/2 Year Old Check-Ups

Bright Futures and the American Academy of Pediatrics are now recommending a 2 1/2 year old well child visit.  Many parents have asked about this recently, so we are beginning to offer them in the office.  Since it is a fairly new recommendation, we are asking parents to contact their insurance company and confirm that it will be covered under your plan prior to scheduling.  Please talk to your primary care provider if you have questions.

Why you should activate your MyChart account

MyChart is a great tool that allows you to access your child’s lab results, shot records, doctor notes, daycare forms, and send requests for rx refills and secure emails.  There is even an app for it!! Activate your child’s account, or have your teenage child activate their own account the next time you are in the office or call the front desk to help you activate it over the phone.  Immunization records printed from MyChart are able to be turned into school/daycare with no signature needed! Its that easy!
